Welp, I suppose dirt bikes and injuries are an inevitability. I would however highly recommend not tearing an ACL though.

Complete Cost of Ownership Update! - KTM/Husqvarna FE/EXC-F 350
Просмотров 24 тыс.4 года назад
Well, I finally got around to tallying up the complete cost of ownership for the 2018 Husqvarna FE 350. I have certainly put a good amount of money into this bike over the years, both in upgrades and in just regular maintenance and wear items. I still have absolutely zero regrets with this bike and I have a blast every time I head out on it. This cost overview can apply to the years 2017 to 201...

What was supposed to be an easy day of getting back into the swing of things took a turn for the worse (pun intended) Not very fun getting stranded on the side of the trail for an hour after only 4.5 miles of your 30-mile loop haha. Luckily, we got it back working again and were able to finish!

Wish u switch to steel valves last way better
To everyone going to do their valves switch to steel valves they last 100 times longer and won't need to shim them hardly at all I have ktm 530 I put 150 hrs after changing valves and check them yesterday they were still spot on I don't ride to hard but do wheelies hill climbing trail ride but with old valves I would have had to shim them 3 times so now u know lol
4K miles there’s no way I’d be pulling it apart yet. That’s like twice a year I’d have to pull it apart,
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this. By far the best video I've seen yet. I'm new to riding and recently bought a 2017 350 SXF that needs a lot of work. I knew this going in and looking forward to the challenge. I've been doing a bunch of research into the parts and process of going about this but having a hard time finding a service manual online. Do you have any suggestions on where to find one?
Where can you buy this?
Solid work!
How is this bike holding up?
Quanto sei alto?
Very hlpful, thanks man
awesome video! so well explained
Can I buy this off of you
We're having too much fun on it man, I'm sorry!
super helpful man. going to be checking my valves on my 2017 KTM 250excf here soon.
My stock Mototec was stronger
cap 🧢 😂
No shot ur stock Mototec is stronger. The EtmV2 has double the power and capacity it looks a lot better too.
Great video my 2015 enjoyed the mods along with me. Keep up the vids .. enjoy the Pig . Feel the bike lose the gloves @ 63 myself us the rubbers for the sheela's.
This is be best video for a valve adjustment I have ever seen 🔥🔥
Are you from Washington state?
Wiseco plastic honing brush pn # sku-w6079 is the right tool for that cylinder cleaning job !
Lmao trying this on a DRZ wish me luck
I plated my TE300 to get to trails. Definately not a road bike but is an option if you need to have a plate.
This was great to watch.
Have a 2022 ktm 300 xc-w and you’re going to love it …I had a 690 ,350, and a 500…the two stroke is my favorite
Thank you I’m about to check mine and most likely adjust.
good video bro, would you recommend this bike for very light offroad trips over several weeks/months? nothing to say about the reliability of the starter or anything else? thanks for your time boss
It was a very good video
How big is the shed???
Will this work the same on a 2024 KTM exc-f 350?
It is just the original Bomb Moto B1 frame frame before they did a bunch of upgrades to it right?..
I mean I'm pretty sure it is Austin bought that before we started doing a lot of updates to the bomb Moto after testing would have loved to hear this on the forks before they did version two I don't know if B1 change the forks or not. Mine are holding up but that makes me nervous lol
Nice rehab of the moto shed.
Electro and Co looks like they're buying the same bike from Titan X in the UK. Titan X goes for 1300 euro. Sick bikes tho!
Its a bomb moto
I have the same bike, it’s worth it
How’s it what if my exhaust was 0.20 and the inlet 0.15 the shims I took out on the exhaust were 2.00
So, beat bike for sale?
Thanks for your help! Regards from Costa Rica.
I have a 2017 FE350 that i bought new. Its been a great bike, ive taken it to the dunes, trails, track, around town on the streets and windy back roads. I definitely like 2-strokes more for off-road riding like my 19 TX300, YZ250/270 and even YZ125. That being said, the fe350 is a street legal dirt bike that ive been able to ride all over with and has definitely gotten the most bang for my buck. I do not regret my purchase and hope to keep it going for many years to come. I dont think it is the greatest at any 1 thing but is a great all around do anything bike. The only major things i have done to the bike are, remove end cap screen from exhaust and reed cage from air filter. I thought of getting a rekluse clutch and new ecu but didnt want to spend the cash. It has been very reliable and durable. I almost sold it last year due to not riding it as much due to my other dirt bikes getting firat pick as I said im more of a 2-stroke guy. After taking it back out for a day i had so much fun riding around on the road that its worth keeping just for the few times i do end up riding it. You feel like your breaking the law riding around on the road with it. Part of the fun in bikes for me is the freedom they give you and this bike gives you that feeling of freedom like no other.
I have a 2023 500excf, these newer bike have an O2 sensor which communicates with the ecu, so no need for a vortex or anything else. I took the reeds out and opened the exhaust and my bike rips, the O2 sensor automatically calls for more fuel. I paid nothing for 10 extra HP.
You are so lucky. I would give the world to have one of those bikes. I am 13 and have been saving up for 3 years.
Same situation!!!!!!!!
i might get a mototec and upgrade it becuase it is the same thing as the ETM 5000 but it is not as good. or bmoto@@Drew_Loftis24
Me too
Got mine on FB market. 36v pro and 48v pro. Paid 750 for both. Tires still have rubber hairs on them.
Get a job you can buy one too
I shipped my head and jug to LaBaron's Powersport to have my head work done and cylinder recoated. Great bunch of guys up there, very helpful, top notch machine work.
I've just finished the rebuild on my 2011 350 xcf, parts and cylinder recoating 1,300.00 usd. 378.6 hours on the meter.
Yea this bike is super fun, it did take forever to get to me tho🤦🏻 I ordered it September 2nd and didn’t get it until November 11th. And also I’m not sure if you have this problem but I’ve had to ask them for a new charger twice because they kept breaking after 2 charges, not sure if they were over heating or what but I keep a fan on it when I charge the battery every time now
Oh yea and be careful when you drop it on asphalt the foot pegs break off superrr easy
I always keep fans on when charging in the summer the heat and charging scares me 😅
Wait to charge after ridding g as the battery will be hot and needs to cool first
I'm looking at a 2017 FE350 with 11,000 miles. It's for sale at a small bike dealer near me. There's no info in the ad other than "excellent condition". Would you even consider buying one of these bikes with 11K? They're asking $4,700. I thought that was reasonable. Then I added the maintenance costs you just mentioned and I could almost buy a new one. Great content! Thank you for all the detailed info.
I think this is comparable to my current YZ 250FX, but I want the dual sport part but with similar performance to the YZ for single track. Good review, thank you.
Looks soo fun
What’s the top speed
I haven't actually clocked it, but they say 35-40mph. It definitely moves.
That’s a fantastic deal!
they look like b1 bomb moto
ya
is it ok for beginners, or is it too much?
The 300 is gonna be a lot of bike for a beginner
@@OregonDualSport any recommendations ?
do you really need to remove the cam chain tensioner or can you just back it out?
On my 2019 350 sxf, I just backed out the tensioner fully but didn't actually remove it since it hits the frame. No issues.
had a 2001 ktm 250sx as a teenager....i just picked up a 2021 KTM 690 enduro and love it but there is absolutely nothing like a two stroke
What trails were in this vid
The motors have different displacements
They do not. Literally the exact same motor
